
Office Cleaning & Janitorial Training
Aimed at cleaners, tea ladies, receptionists’ etc. that have cleaning and hygiene-related duties to perform on a regular basis.
Ace of maids sends a trainer directly to your office to conduct the training on your premises. Upon arrival at your offices, an assessment of the work area and workload is done, to confirm you have enough staff to perform all the required duties.
We fully understand the personality differences each person and staff member have, and we deal with each person accordingly. The office cleaning training courses is structured to include important Change Management elements, so your staff will be receptive to the training, and they will be left confident to continue integrating their new skills into their daily routines. In addition, we would demonstrate and emphasize the importance of good personal hygiene, regular hand washing, and the use of hand sanitiser to help keep your office space hygienically clean.
Ace of Maids is a B-BBEE level 4 contributor – claimable under B-BBEE Skills Development.

In the training we cover the following:
For the Office cleaning:
- Privacy policy
- Working quietly
- Organising yourself
- Dusting, light fittings, power points
- Couches, tables, pillows – placement and care of
- Woodcare, ornaments
- Windows and blinds
- Polishing
- Vacuuming, carpet care
- Corners and rails
- Item placement
- Electronics, cords
- Walls, curtains, skirting
- Emptying bins
- Tea / Coffee Service
- Cleaning of the staff kitchen
For the janitorial cleaning:
- Sinks, Plug holes
- Toilets, placement of toilet paper,
- Folding towels
- Windows, blinds
- Grouting
- Soap holders or dispensers
- Walls, skirting, doors, and handles
- Hard to reach places
- Mirrors and glass
- Establishing a routine
Before departing, the Trainer will handwrite a cleaning schedule/task list to help ensure all those easily forgotten tasks are not forgotten.
For the training, each trainee a handy manual, with notes about the class, which they can write in during the class.
After the training, each trainee receives a certificate of attendance, emailed through to your office for safekeeping.
Office and Janitorial Training lasts an average of 4 hours.
Training is available in English, Zulu, Sesotho, or Xhosa
The cost for the training is as follows:
- 1 trainee R3,190
- 2 trainees R4,390 (R2,195 per person)
- 3 trainees R5,390 (R1,796 per person)
- 4 trainees R6,380 (R1,595 per person)
- 5 trainees R6,990 (R1,398 per person)
*Certain areas require a travel surcharge of R230, e.g. Alberton, Pretoria, Chartwell, Roodepoort etc.
