General Cleaning & Hygiene Training

This training program is called “General Cleaning Training” and is designed for both homes and office cleaning.

It is a full-day workshop that runs from 8.30am to 4.30pm at our venue in Edenvale.

The program targets individuals who work as Cleaners, Team Leaders, Supervisors, and other individuals who are interested in upskilling.

The theoretical part of the training covers important topics such as personal hygiene and appearance, basic communication skills, employee responsibilities, the importance of cleaning, cleaning principles, time management, correct cleaning methods, and product/tool usage. Other essential topics include keeping cleaning items clean, wastage control, and end-of-shift duties.

The practical training is equally important, and it covers preparing to clean, cleaning different materials and spaces, cleaning above floor surfaces, correct mopping and vacuuming techniques, cleaning streak-free windows and mirrors, hygiene and janitorial cleaning, basic spot cleaning, and the general cleaning household and office spaces.

 

Costs:              Pricing ranges from R2090 to R1090 per person, depending on the number of attendees

Venue:             Ace of Maids, Edenvale, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng

Includes:         Training and all equipment/chemicals needed, tea, snacks and lunch, as well as a certificate which is emailed through to you after the training.

Classes available in English, Zulu, Sesotho, Xhosa, or Tswana
